From Remediation to Strategy: Sally at PNNL 2025

In 2025, Sally attended sessions at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), including the RemPlex Summit and meetings connected to the EED DAC (Energy and Environment Directorate Director’s Advisory Council). RemPlex focuses on solving complex environmental cleanup challenges using advanced modeling, data science, and interdisciplinary research, while the EED DAC provides strategic guidance to help shape research priorities across the Energy and Environment Directorate. Together, these experiences gave Sally insight into how large-scale environmental research is coordinated, from technical innovation to high-level decision-making.
